Expenses can create a huge hole in one’s wallet. Not being able to monitor and control the outflow/inflow of cash can result into a stressful situation, especially when one is surviving on a budget. We all know that our financial health hugely influence our decisions in life. For instance, a rich guy would not work under someone rather he would create his own empire. On the other hand, those who can’t afford to set up their own business are left with no choice, but to work under someone for a meager pay.
Not of all us can afford to buy an expensive cell phone without having to swipe our credit card. While we enjoy our new possession, the joy goes for a ride shortly after we receive our credit card statement. If we happen to miss a deadline, within no time we shall start receiving collection calls and other form of reminders, thereby leaving us extremely stressed. This stress will prevail until you clear the dues and to clear the dues, a layperson is left with no choice but to wait for the next paycheck.
Now, let’s get back to the day when you swiped your credit card. Do you think; you really needed that expensive cell phone at such a cost? Is it worth the stress you are taking on? Perhaps, some of you might be repenting your decision, but when it’s too late. This is just one incident that shows how lavish spending can contribute to our stress. Goes without saying, we indulge in many such unwanted expenses to satisfy ourselves only to realize that we are falling into a pitfall. After all, the life of style, convenience and ease appeals to everyone out there, but not each one of us is able to cope up with the after effects associated with such a lifestyle.
While you don’t have to deprive yourself from all the good things in life, you would definitely want to weigh the positives and the negatives of an expense, especially when the cost of acquisition is high. You would definitely not love to spend a stressful month for a day’s stay at a fabulous hotel. The idea is to give a second thought before shaving off your hard earned money. This will save you from great stress in the days to come!
